couple times a year artists gather here in ATL for the Indie Craft Experience at Ambient Studios to sell and promote their hand-crafted goods. this past weekend after grabbing brunch with my gal pal we went to check out the goodies and also to support my boyfriend who was selling dog bow ties he crafts for his new side business called "Distinguished Domesticates."

i snapped a few photos of the event with my new Canon 50mm 1.4 lens that i recently acquired, soooooo much fun playing with depth of field i can't control myself!

creative lady Leela of Native Bear made a hand-stamped 2013 calendar, which sold out in the first 1/2 of the first day-you go girl!

my outfit from Friday, November 2nd
photos taken on the Beltline, "Atlanta's newest revitalization effort providing a network of public parks, multi-use trails and transit re-using 22-miles of historic railroad corridors circling downtown and connecting 45 neighborhoods directly to each other." if you live in the area or visit ATL is really is worth checking out, especially the artwork and installations along the way.

CLUB MONACO

since club monaco posted their lookbook today i've gone back countless times and looked [STUDIED] each look - it's just that good. even thought about posting the guys' outfits because they are just as yummy (the dudes and the clothes!) here are the 22 lady looks in their Fall'12 collection, enjoy!

what i really like most about this collection is the touches of masculinity while still keeping it girly. i'm serious when i say i'm studying this lookbook..its damn near perfection for Fall/Winter. imagining my own wardrobe i'm thinking i have pieces that could come together to form some of these looks. though i hate cold weather i'm pretty excited about layering, especially short sweaters over longer shirts, billowy tops over skirts/dresses and button downs under EVERYTHING.

hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween, as i had dressed up numerous times over October i opted to stay in and make chicken-n-dumplins. it was the smartest decision i've made in a while :)
