//nearly two weeks later and yet, STILL not fully recovered!! needless to say, we threw it down in the desert.

driving 3 hours to Birmingham, AL (on wed) to catch a 6:30 am flight (on thurs) to SD, THEN i had TWO job interviews afterwards helped pack up the 15 person PARTY fan, applied the decals i made at the sign shop, and then CARPOOLCHELLA'd along to Indio, Cali. for 4 days & 3 nights of MAYHEM.

another top pick, this show was incredible. much much better than their set in 2007!

yes..we saw..the one and only Jay-Z. it was pretty rad to say the least, he played one of his greatest hits ((in my opinion)) "Can I get A" haha, i loved this song as a youngin!

he also played "new york" and it TOO was off the wall live! look at the crazy LEDs that looked just like the NYC skyline, it was great!! we left his show to catch the last bit of Fever Ray and just as we walked off Beyonce comes out! suck! oh well...

just got in from hitting up California for Coachella last night, SURPRISE, really didn't even mention i was going (realized this late and didn't get to a 'farewell' post...such a procrastinator!)...had a marvelous time desert dancing to my favorite songs *major sigh* it's over!!!! but i will talk about all this soon soon in a festival post, but i need to get to business-announcing the winner of the giveaway.....Cath from ASIAN CAJUNS! her picnic flashback was the best, read below!

▶Last year I took my bf on a picnic during the summer at Agnes Scott. Hardly anyone was on campus and we found this amazing spot behind the new chapel. I packed wine, cheese and bread from the DeKalb Farmers Market and made some coronation chicken to go with the bread. For dessert I had bought 3 mini cake donuts from Duck's Cosmic Kitchen◀

doesn't that sound amazing? i thought so, she could totally use the eco-friendly picnic bundle (especially in the south with all these skeeterzz!) well i'm STILL in much need of rest from the weekend craziness, gotta get out of slowMO [so i can plan more adventures!!] can't wait to share all the wonderful memories of Coachella Valley Music Fest.....

so this photographer, Rony Alwin, resides in LA [as well as DJ Skeet Skeet] and shoots for such clients as Nylon, Diesel, Missbehave, and Toms Shoes-just to name a few...after checking out his website I will definitely be doing a post soon of his photos, he's very talented [and has some famous friends!!]

tonight we are hitting up the same party with a different line up of djs and the same fabulous atmosphere! did a little shopping this afternoon and picked up some essentials for the warming weather, one of which is a pair of acid washed JEGGINGS from H&M. pretty excited to say the least! have a great weekend ladies, and be sure to enter the "green giveaway!"
