this lady duck kept begging off us until I threw her a couple chips, literally going upstream to try and get a bite. too funny!

cheers to cold ass water, cheap ass beer, weird ass swinger parties in the woods and completing a 4 1/2+ hour float without getting hyerthermia ((well only the beginning stages)) oh AND not loosing the float on the roof tied down with a purse strap and mp3 cord. HA.
R1-15Aeverything was fine and dandy when we had beers warming and cheering us up but as soon as those 12 were consumed. very early. we were bitter about not knowing the water stays about 50-60 degrees ROUND YEAR. and paddled ourselves down river as quickly as possible with our shoes. ugh. great experience nonetheless!

one more cheers to the laziest Sunday ev.

such a fun wedding! ended with an after party at The Booth which in turn ended at the toilet bowl. head first. eh. damn open bar. regardless, memorable.

I would totally wait to talk about this but really I can't. .  on Tuesday I modeled for the Atlanta Photographers Guild and had a total blast. Sorta freaked myself in the days leading to but it was no sweat at all, and all the photographers were amazingly talented! about 45 or so photos have been uploaded to the account but I wanted to see all the outfits/photos before choosing the ones to post here. real excited!

ok well my fingers are throbbing after a super long day of work, on the computer and shiz.

I didn't take but a couple pics on the disposable cam but getting two of those developed this week so will def be sharing what I discover.  Aside from the shows wanted to share some recent outfits, nothing too fancy. .but all involve one mustard purse I just can't leave the house without. . .seeing as how I recently bought a new vintage bag AND an Elliot Luca number you won't be seeing it AS much :))DSCN7624

another page from the most current Nylon, which by the way has Sienna on the cover, lovin this hat, reminds me of Stevie Nicks circa 1972.

here's my jewels///a collection that started as early as kindergardenDSCN7536
DSCN7531
four left most pieces are from rock & mineral shows, big Geode (d. blue guy) is from my days living in Montana (k-2nd grade), pretty blue calcite (right front) is a gift from Susan found in Rhode Island, shells were found by me, as well as granite in back-found in New Hampshire.
DSCN7534
coral-in back-found in Key West, geode pieces from rock and mineral show, amethyst from University of Alabama's Geology dept. photo is my mom in 1980.

Friday was Susan's wedding at the Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa, which turned out to be beautifully decorated in all the nautical artifacts you can imagine (the yacht club, not necessarily her wedding which was supposed to be outdoors-but unfortunately was rained out. . didn't make a difference to me, i thought it was lovely) There was a great sunset, upbeat band, l/o/t/s of finger foods, shrimp & grits station, open premium bar, && familiar faces. We danced it up and then went to The Booth for a separate hoedown. Saturday we went out for breakfast and then hit up the lake with my mom and Gracie (the new pup). Tasted some of my brothers home brew and grilled out, thats about when dp and I passed out at 7 and didn't wake till this morning at 8am our time. ha. i don't consider it a wasted night as i probably needed the rest more than anything. obviously.

Hop God///
something funny i wanted to mention about the festi was that i had around 6-7 different GUYS come up and tell me that my shoes where cool. one in particular said "those are awesome their like Pocahontas in the back but summer time in the front!" i believe they were all straight and just legitimately liked them, thought it was odd. my gfs were like-what the hell?!
DSCN7387
I mentioned in previous post that we (4 out of 6 of us. .) hit up the hippest dance party around and this is what I wore/ / / /
DSCN7389
vintage genuine Hawaii dress, vintage Etienne Aigner, Lucky Brand necklace, Bear Trap wedges/ / /

this trip was so much fun! I went to school with most of the girls and hadn't seen a couple in a minute and what better circumstances than a friend taking the plunge.

today has been rather productive, despite the fact I am very sore from yesterday's tubbing experience. Ashleigh, her BF (Matt), Dusty and I bought some tubes and floated down the Chattahoochee River and little did we know the water rarely gets above 50degrees! We were somewhat miserable with stiff muscles and burning abs (from trying to hold my weight out of the water) but had an overall good floatage that ended with walking up onto a swinger party of sorts. yes swingers. in the parking lot. pretty sure my boyfriend was hit on by a red head with tiny pig tails and squeeky voice, but all was good and I was just laughing away until we sped on out of there. . .
about to soak up some of the new cable we got hooked up today. the choppy free shiz wasn't working anymore. . have a swell night lady friends!
