Aug 18th I took a trip up to New Hampshire to visit a good friend of mine and we had quite the adventure. She picked me up from the airport in her 1966 Impala that her dad just finished remodeling. It was great, we cruized around and went vintage shopping in downtown Ports Smouth. I purchased some great stuff on that trip, a vintage suitcase, 60's sailor pants, retro cordaroy jacket, button down hippie/western shirt, and some fabric from a yard sale. All in all a great time. We also went to a brewers fest (aka BEER FEST!) in Burlington, Vermont and had a splendid time. I will be posting more pictures from our trip in a couple of days.The 4th picture down is Kristie and I playing 'dress up' in the hippist vintage shop in New Hampshire (ODD Showroom). Kristie actually purchased the two piece green number she has on, but I didn't get anything I am wearing. I regret not getting the 1963 rollerskates but I am going to try and find a pair after that adventure.
